Last week this time we were preparing to land in Jax and see our boys. I couldn't wait to wrap my arms around both of them. Over the last 3 years we have flown occasionally, and each time we came back home I would say, "one day we're gonna come around this cornor with our little girl!" That day finally came! As you might imagine, it was quite emotional. My sweet Jason tenderly cried on his daddy's shoulder before greeting his sister with a sweet kiss. Andrew was running late due to an out of town tennnis match. His Aunt Cheryl was not gonna allow this moment to slip away from him, so she rallied our youth pastor to rendevous with the team and Andrew made it to the airport while we were in luggage claim. He was adorable as he ran through the airport to meet his sister. My heart was so full in that moment! They are so loving and patient with their sister. She is blessed to have them!

You can see Frank filming from the other side - I was just thinking how blessed we all are to understand the power of the moment of meeting you all at the airport. Due to distance and time, it just isn't feasable for everyone to make it, but I'm so glad that Frank and Allyson brought Molly there to share in the joy and add to the story for Lydia - undoubtedly, one day Josie, Emilie and Molly will be able to embrace the memories of welcoming Lydia to the family and share the details with her - that is soooo special.

Yes, I do hope the 4 of them are friends for life. It is a powerful moment, because we all know that our God orchestrated each of our families as He wanted them to be. I am glad to be part of your lives. I really wish our photos had turned out, but you will just have to share the ones you have with me. Hope to see you one day during break.

Goodness... I thought my crying was all over but after seeing the boys greeting their sister I realize the crying was just beginning... again. What an awesome, awesome video to see the tenderness and love that they have for their little sis !!
